Red Dead Redemption: NPCs Will Give You Detailed Directions If You Turn Off the Minimap

Red Dead Redemption 2 is around the corner and it consists of a huge map. According to the latest rumors. if you turn off your mini-map, you will be given directions by NPCs. They will give you directions for routes, landmarks and more.

It was already revealed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will have an option to turn HUD completely off but this is for the hardcore fans of the game. If it’s true, it’s going to be a treat for the fans of the game or the players who play games in a hardcore way without any help.

This means that you will have to pay attention to almost every geographic location in Red Dead Redemption 2. Being able to use your compass to find locations will make the gameplay more interesting. It’s a way to understand the in-game map and play it accordingly without any help of the minimap directions.

Though this all suggests a speculation as of now. This information came from a YouTuber called LegacyKillaHD. According to him, a European magazine called Gameplay is reporting this change.

If this turns out to be true, You will spend hours in the game finding your desired locations. As you all know, RDR2 is the biggest game in works by Rockstar and it also manages to have the biggest map.

Red Dead Redemption 2 consists of the biggest map ever overcoming original RDR and even Grand Theft Auto.

Having a massive map means lots of activities and missions. You can do a lot in the game. You can hunt animals, burglarize houses and even annoy random people in the West World if you like.

RDR 2 is also going to have more weapons than the previous installment in the series. According to the reports, RDR 2 will have more than 50 weapons for you to use.

Now that’s a lot of weapons to make use of in the game and even in the online mode of the game.

Another report suggests that Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature the original map of RDR in it. Thought it’s not likely to be a part of the single-player campaign but will be present in the online mode of the game.
