After a number of different reveals for different Jump Force characters, a new trailer has been released showing off the moves and super ability of Yugi Moto in Jump Force after we’d previously only seen a promotional image of him in action, but now we actually get to see how he plays.
Unlike a lot of the other characters in Jump Force, who are all extremely capable and powerful martial artists and superhumans, Yugi Moto (in this case as his alter ego Yami Yugi) isn’t very physical, instead playing card games for the fate of the world. However, with the power of his Millennium Puzzle, Yugi is able to summon monsters to fight on his behalf, and they’re not holograms, either.
Yugi, from what we’ve seen so far, is able to use Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl to fight the many different opponents that he’ll be facing in Jump Force, and will likely also be able to cast Spell or Trap cards to either trip up his opponent or buff his attacks. Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl may not be the only monsters he uses either, as he came with a large number of different monsters in his deck.
Yugi’s ultimate move also brings a third monster to the field, his powerful Egyptian God Card Slifer the Sky Dragon, which can unleash a devastating attack.
Jump Force has already announced that it will be including characters like Goku, Frieza, Naruto, Luffy, Gon, and others in its roster, and even with Yugi Moto in Jump Force it’s likely that we’ll be seeing a number of other well-known anime characters and protagonists before the game releases.
To see Yugi Moto in Jump Force along with all of the other characters that are coming, you can buy the game in February for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
