With the help of our Fortnite Season 6 Week 2 Challenges Guide, you will be able to breeze your way through all the new challenges put forth by Epic. Our Challenges Guide outlines what exactly week 2 challenges require you to do alongside a few useful tips and strategies to complete them to fulfill your weekly quota of Battle Stars.
Fortnite Season 6 Week 2 Challenges
Unlike Season 5 Challenges, there is no Treasure Hunt neither a challenge that asks you to open a certain number of chests.
The time-consuming and confusing stuff is out the way for easier and simplified tasks that can be completed just by playing enough sessions online.
Most of these are for exploring new parts of the map or parts that received an upgrade.
The other involves getting kills using a particular weapon and in different ways. That is about it! Nothing to scratch your head over. Let us see how you can tackle each of these challenges one by one.
First, you need to locate all Corrupted Areas for 5 Battle Stars. These seven areas are not hard to find since they are surrounded by the purple glow along with a rune from the same cub that appeared in Season 5.
You will need to find a visit all seven of the Corrupted Areas near the Named Locations on the map. The locations in no particular order are:
- South of Salty Springs
- Southwest of Dusty Divot, West of Tilted Towers
- Southwest of Wailing Woods, East of Tomato Temple
- Southwest of Pleasant Park, Northeast of Tilted Towers
- Southeast of Retail Road, Just When the Paradise Palms Area Starts
- Floating Island Near a Little West of Shifty Shafts but Before Greasy Grove
- Towards the South of Lazy Links and Just a Little Northwest of Tomato Temple
Next comes consuming a Shadow Stone in 3 different matches for 5 Battle Stars. A new consumable based around the Halloween theme will turn you into a ghostly figure that lets you become invisible for a little while.
When you would be locating the Corrupted Areas for the previous challenge, you will surely come across some Shadow Stones within these areas, therefore, keep your eyes peeled.
Dealing 200 damage to opponent(s) using the standard Assault Rifle for 3 Battle Stars is quite self-explanatory. Just play through enough matches and you will be able to complete the challenge.
Do note that this is just the first stage of multiple stages and will continue until the entirety of Season 6 is concluded.
Battle Pass Challenges
Eliminating an opponent from 50m away or farther for 5 Battle Stars will require a lot of practice and precision.
A reasonable estimation of the distance is to space yourself and the opponent you are planning to take out by 10 buildings or empty plots. It goes without saying that you should use a Sniper Rifle or some other long-ranged weapon for the best results.
Dealing 500 damage to the opponent(s) using a Pistol for 5 Battle Stars is as straightforward as it can be. It does not matter whether you use a Silenced Pistol or not.
Eliminating 3 opponents using an SMG for 8 Battle Stars is another simple challenge. Go with any SMG you can find in the game.
Finally, dealing 200 damage with Hunting Rifles to the opponent(s) for 3 Battle Stars is again as simple as it sounds. However, do note that this is the first stage for the multiple ones that will be spread across the entire season.
