Red Dead Redemption 2: John Marston To Be Voiced By The Original Voice Actor

John Marston is one of the most beloved video game protagonists and given that Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel, John Marston will be returning. But, who will be voicing John Marston this time around?

According to Twitter use, Jake Dekker, John Marston will be voiced by the original voice actor, Rob Wiethoff, who voiced Jhon in Red Dead Redemption.

If the Tweet is to be believed, then Rob Wiethoff will be voicing the younger version of John Marston in Red Dead Redemption 2. Wiethoff did an incredible job portraying the character and I hope that Wiethoff will do justice to Jhon’s character once again.

Speaking of the game, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available for the upgraded consoles along with the base Xbox One and PlayStation 4. While the base consoles will be running the game at 1080p but, Microsoft has confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be native 4K on the Xbox One X.

The confirmation comes from official Xbox France Twitter account in which the company confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 is optimized at native 4K for Xbox One X along with the support for HDR.

However, don’t expect the game to run at higher FPS than 30 as the game’s analysis has revealed that the game will be rendered at 30 FPS on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.

The game is over two weeks away from launch, however, some lucky gamers are already playing the game. According to the report, a couple of Twitter users posted images of them playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on the PlayStation 4.

Not only that, over at Reddit it was revealed that one gamer who is also part of the Red Dead Redemption community was spotted playing the upcoming title.

This indicates that the game’s development is complete and it has gone gold. Also, those playing the game might be the developers themselves or the people close to them.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world action video game developed by Rockstar Gamesa and is scheduled to launch on October 26, 2018, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
