Global Removal of Leaked Harry Potter RPG Footage Confirms Its existence

The leaked footage from the Harry Potter RPG is being removed worldwide after copyright claims from WB. This not only proves its existence but the leak’s legitimacy as well.

It is rumored that WB is partnering with Rocksteady to develop this new RPG. These two companies have a long-standing partnership. Rocksteady games worked on Batman Arkham games which makes this studio the most likely candidate for developing Harry Potter.

What’s interesting is that this isn’t the first time we are hearing of this game. Back 2017, a rumor first mentioned a Harry Potter RPG. At the time Just Cause creator Avalanche was linked to the project when a job posting came up. And some aspects of the job listing stood out. The in a development project is reportedly called Harry Potter: Magic Awakened.

Warner Bros. Games Inc. seeks a Senior Writer for the Avalanche Story department. We are looking for a talented storyteller with a deep understanding of British culture and grammatical presentation.

Applicants should be creative self-motivated problem solvers who enjoy collaborating with other writers and designers to create an immersive game narrative. If this is you, send us your resume and writing samples (both humor and drama represented) for consideration.

Provide British authenticity to the tone of the project.
Receive feedback and modify work based on direction from both the internal team and franchise representatives.
Review product as necessary to help maintain on-brand messaging.

Work that shows a deep understanding of gaming narrative and branching storytelling, particularly in the realm of RPGs.

The footage we saw is clearly a trailer for the game which we now can expect to drop any time. Once the footage rolls, we will know which developer is actually working on the game.
