Matter Could Be Destiny 2 Dev Bungie’s New Game

Destiny 2 Dev Bungie could be working on a new game according to a new trademark that the developer has applied for. The trademark is for something called Matter. There is little that we know about this but the trademark tells us that “video game software” and “electronic games services provided by means of the internet or another communication network”.

A very interesting logo has been submitted with the trademark. It might be too early to say that Matter is going to be the new game from Destiny 2 Dev Bungie. Destiny has a huge budget and 2 games have been released but it is more than likely that this is not going to be the end. We have seen the annual pass and that goes up to 2019.

Other than that we know that Chinese company NetEase invested $100 million into Destiny 2 Dev Bungie to make non-Destiny projects. While Destiny 2 is the main game that Bungie is working on right now, it is more than likely that the company is working on a game on the side as well. The game could be in early development if Matter is indeed the name of the game.

This could be a streaming service of some kind but this is speculation at this point in time so you need to take this with a grain of salt. We will let you know about the matter so stay tuned.

While we are talking about Destiny 2 it is worth mentioning that the Forsaken DLC has brought plenty of people back and while Cayde-6 has died, the voice actor behind the character, Nathon Fillion believes that he is not actually dead. The following is what he had to say regarding the matter:

How do I feel about Cayde-6? I absolutely love him. How do I feel about that character dying? I don’t personally believe it. He’s a Guardian. He should be able to come back. I mean, that’s their whole thing, they come back, right? The whole thing is the resurrection.

People have their reservations regarding Destiny 2 and some people think that the original was better. I think that Destiny 2 is a great game and you should check it out if you have not done so already.

Let us know what you think about Destiny 2 and whether or not you would play another game from Bungie
