Developers of the Call of Duty franchise tried their hand at battle royale mode for the first time in Black Ops 4. The beta of Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout came out earlier and it fared pretty well on all platforms. But Treyarch is going to announce the frame rate of Blackout mode for PC.
Although Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout mode beta was well received the PC framerate extended to 90 FPS only. So, to address this concern Treyarch has decided to soon declare the frame rate for PC users which have not been confirmed yet..
The reason behind Treyarch taking PC frame rate under consideration was a Redditor. This user started a thread speculating that Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout won’t have uncapped FPS. In response to this developers had to calm the situation down before an outbreak emerged. So, Treyarch’s official account commented in the same Reddit thread saying.
“That official statement is coming soon. I mean it! Don’t lose your minds.”
This would lighten the weight on developers end for the time being. But players are eager than ever to play Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout on their PCs. The official release of the game is almost ten days away now so the promptness of PC users seems justified.
One might argue that in times where normal monitor refresh rate is 144Hz, uncapped FPS is a must. In some cases, even 300 frames-per-second are being run with 230Hz refresh rates. Even though Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout got backed to be a hit, this concern might turn the tables around.
The Blackout mode features the biggest Call of Duty map ever, with 13 named locations. Moreover, Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout is even considered a newcomer-friendly mode. However, for users already familiar, the Multiplayer beta was automatically updated to the battle royale mode to save users from the headache of downloading and installing from the start.
