Treyarch is doing a great job when it comes to Black Ops 4. Since its Blackout Beta, Treyarch has been listening to the community and they did figure it out that the item pickup system is not fluid. Treyarch has now revealed a new option which will make things a lot easier.
If you played Blackout like me, you would have hated the pickup system. It made it so hard to pick up the desired weapon or equipment from the ground. You had to press and hold but now it’s going to change.
Development chief David Vonderhaar has revealed a new option for Blackout through his Twitter. The screenshot of the game shows us two different options to choose from. You can hold square to pick up nearby loot or press square to prioritise picking up nearby loot over reloading weapons.
That’s now your choice to make and Vonderhaar has already warned everyone to not yell when they pick up loot instead of reloading.
It’s worth appreciating that Treyarch is always finding solutions to different problems. The pickup system is different in Black Ops 4 as compared to Fortnite or PUBG. Treyarch is prioritizing ammo over everything else as it plays an important role in a game like Call of Duty.
Though this is not it. it’s the beginning and will definitely take some time for Treyarch to solve issues like this in Black Ops 4 and especially Blackout.
In other news. You will be surprised to know that Black Ops 4 is massive in size. You will need least 100 GB to install it on your system. This is the best time for you to grab an external hard before you run out of space next week.
Also, Black Ops 4 early copies are out. So be ready as a lot of people will be uploading their gameplay videos earlier than the official release date.
Black Ops 4 will have 12 maps at launch. These include some remastered maps like Firing range, Nuketown and more. Though these are less and disappointing as compared to previous games.
Treyarch recently unveiled a new multiplayer map called Morrocco which looks like a desert themed map.
We can’t wait to play Black Ops 4 Blackout and try out this new pick-up option when the game releases to the public on October 12 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
