Legendary Weapons are the highest ranked weapons in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, with unique shapes and incomparable strength.

These Legendary Weapons are so strong that some NPCs worship them in cults. You will have to hunt down Cultists to drop these weapons.

Although some Legendaries are guaranteed drops from our guide, the vast majority of them drop randomly so while we give you the location of where we found them, it is likely they will be different for you.

Let us know in the comment section where the Legendary weapons were for you, so we can make a more accurate guide. Without further ado, let us begin:

Spears have been revamped in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Spears are now able to thrust and plunge into enemies which should be their original purpose.

In the previous game, spears were used for CC and that was not a very accurate representation of the spears.

Hades Bident
Hades, the ruler of the dead, has a signature weapon, his Bident. This Bident is one of the strongest spears in the game and because of the name its carrier, it has significant importance.

You can find this spear in a chest at Mount Ithome Fort, west of Messenia’s Coast. Prepare before venturing to this area. You get +20% damage on the Ring of Chaos ability when you have this weapon equipped.

Achilles Spear
We all know the Greek hero Achilles. He was a hero of the Trojan War, who killed the Trojan hero Hector outside the gates of Troy with his spear.

You can find his legendary spear in a chest at the Olynthos Fortress in Makedonia. Achilles Spear has the ability to bless you with +20% damage on Multi-Shot bow ability when you equip it.

Bows

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has improved the Bows mechanics a lot, compared to its previous iterations.

In Odyssey, you can finally craft your own arrows. There is multiple types of arrows and you need a different type of material to craft them. Good thing is that you do not need to go anywhere to make these arrows.

You can make them by going to the Crafting Menu in the Pause Menu. We have listed all the Legendary Bows in the game. Be sure to follow up in a week or two, when we will have listed more of these bows.

Artemis’ Bow
Artemis was one of the most respectable deities in Ancient Greek. She was one of the first female identities to be given so much respect. She was a hunter god who carried a bow and arrows.

Her bow is available for use in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and we have finally located where you can find this bow.

Artemis’ Bow can be obtained by killing the first Legendary Creature after you accept the quest Daughters of Artemis from Daphnae.

We recommend this bow when you are starting out the game. It becomes one of the strongest bows when upgraded through the Blacksmith.

Achilles’ Bow
Apparently, Achilles used to wield a bow too. It is said in the lore that it can launch deadly attacks when shot from great heights. Achilles’ Bow is one of the strongest Bows in the game and has a very high DPS.

This bow can be acquired as a random drop from Mercenaries. You need to kill the Mercenary before they potentially drop a weapon for your use.

Eros’ Bow
Eros is also known by his other name, the Cupid. In most adaptations of the Cupid, the Cupid carries a bow that can launch love arrows. Anyone touched by this love arrow will instantly fall in love with the next person they see.

Eros’ Bow can be acquired in a chest in Andania Mine in Messenia. Sadly, the love arrows do not work in Odyssey. It would have been hilarious to see NPCs running after you in affection when you shot them.

Herakles’ Bow
Herakles’ Bow is perhaps the strongest bow in the game, with unparalleled DPS and speed. Herakles’ Bow can be found in a chest at the Koinyra Fortress on Thasos Island of the Hephaistos Islands.

Fanged Bow
You can find this Fanged bow in a legendary cave in the Cave of Mount Zas, in the region of Naxos.
All arrows shot with this Bow will become poisonous. A marvelous weapon!

Hades’ Bow
Hades, the god of the underworld, possessed a bow that could fire arrows to make its targets suffer in an endless fire.

You can find Hades’ Bow by killing the mercenary ‘of the Ashen Wake’ and then looting him. As in the lore, all arrows shot with this Bow will become fire arrows.

Paris’ Bow
A very legendary bow, Paris’ Bow can be found by killing and looting the cultist Kleon the Everyman. Paris’ Bow has a unique engraving where you get +20% damage with your Ghost Arrows of Artemis ability.

Staves

Staffs have been introduced in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and they have some great tricks hidden in the gameplay. Simple attacks with staff are precise and fast, while heavy attacks can be used to hit enemies from afar.

Using a heavy attack after parrying will hit all nearby enemies so it’s a good weapon for crowd control. We have listed the best staff in the game, that is legendary graded and listed it in this guide.

Rod of Asklepios
You can find this staff, or rod, by killing the cultist ‘Iokaste the Seer’ and then looting him. This rod has a unique attack modifier where you all your CRIT chance will convert into damage, hence nullifying any chance to CRIT. It is a good weapon if the gods of RNG don’t like you.

Heavy Blade

Heavy Bladed weapons are heavy weapons that hit faster than Heavy Blunt weapons. They offer a good balance between speed and strength, without sacrificing sizes. They are good at killing crowd of enemies with their heavy and charged heavy attacks.

Elysian Axe
Elysian Axe is a very powerful axe capable of dealing huge damage to a single enemy or crowd of enemies. It can be found by killing the cultist ‘Polemion the Wise’ and then looting him. Elysian Axe also provides +20% damage when using the Rain of Destruction ability.

Minotaur’s Labrys
Minotaurs are usually depicted using heavy axes and this game adapts that myth.

You can find the Minotaur’s Labrys by killing the Minotaur at the Knossos Palace in Messara and then looting it.
Your cost of using adrenaline for Overpower ability will decrease by -1 when using this Labrys.

Polyphemos Cyclops Bludgeon
Cyclops uses a Bludgeon when you first meet and kill him to save your first mate and cap’n. Polyphemos Cyclops Bludgeon can be found by killing Cyclops and looting him at the Cave of the Forgotten Isle in Phokis. This special weapon is a good starter weapon as it gives +25% damage on elites and bosses.
