7nm AMD Vega Up To 65% Faster Than RX Vega 64 According To Benchmarks

AMD Vega will shift to the 7nm process. This means better performance and efficiency compared to other graphics cards on the market right now. We are not sure what kind of performance gains 7nm AMD Vega will offer but we have numbers here that give us an idea.
Recently we heard that 7nm AMD Vega graphics cards would offer up to 80% better performance. This was recently reported on Reddit. Here we have a few benchmarks that show the performance of 7nm AMD Vega graphics cards.
It is worth noting that the performance is not increased by 80%. But there is a noticeable improvement of up to 65%. Most of the numbers here show an increase in performance of over 50%. That is a significant boost in performance. You can check out the benchmarks below:
It is worth mentioning that this is a leak. If these are 7nm AMD Vega cards then these are pretty early numbers. The performance could change with the introduction of better driver support.
Keeping all this in mind you should take this information with a grain of salt. The Nvidia RTX graphics cards are dominating the market right now. AMD Vega might challenge these cards. But I don’t think that we will get performance that will outrun the RTX GPUs.
If 7nm AMD Vega cards do offer this kind of performance, then it will be interesting to see the kind of performance that AMD Navi will offer. We have also heard that these graphics cards will come with an alternate of NVLink. That will offer higher bandwidth and scalability.
Nvidia has a lead when it comes to the new generation of graphics card. Not to mention dominance in this space as well. The 1080 Ti was the most powerful consumer graphics card previous generation and the RTX 2080 Ti will be the most powerful card this generation. For more information regarding graphics cards, stay tuned.
Let us know what you think about 7nm AMD Vega and whether or not you are interested in getting one of these graphics cards.
