Ubisoft Wants to Bring Back Multiplayer in Assassin’s Creed Series, Need It?

Assassin’s Creed games have been missing multiplayer mode for some time now. It was fun and allowed us to play with friends while stalking or assassinating each other. During a recent interview, Ubisoft has commented on the possible return of multiplayer.

During a recent interview with Game Informer. Ubisoft’s chief creative officer Serge Hascoet said:

“We have many technologies, so it’s case by case, but Assassin’s Creed has no multiplayer mode, and that is very important for the social aspect of gaming, so we are looking for that. Also, when you want to change something in the world in our games, right now the player has to download 20GB.”

It’s clear that Serge Hascoet is proud of everything the team has done with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. But he knows what’s missing from the game. Though he didn’t go into further details to talk about how it could be in an upcoming game.

As for Ubisoft, Multiplayer is in talks and might be in works for the next game. With Battle Royale out there, Ubisoft has a lot of choices to make and bring back multiplayer mode in the game.

As for the players, everyone has always had mixed reviews about the multiplayer in AC. Some never played it but some did enjoy hunting down and assassinating.

Don’t expect multiplayer to be a part of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey through a future update. Scott Phillips did confirm that Assassin’s Odyssey will not have any online feature.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has been receiving some mixed reviews. People think that it doesn’t feel like Assassin’s Creed anymore. It’s repetitive and same as the previous games.

You can check out our review of the game before you get your hands on the game. Before you play, also keep in mind that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has an interaction system flaw. Triangle or Y button on your controller is for interacting with the world, looting and also for assassinating.

It’s pretty confusing and results in doing a wrong action at the wrong time. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will take you long to complete as it features a story length of up to 41 hours.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will release on October 5 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
