There is a lot of hype around Cyberpunk 2077 and there is a good reason behind that. From what we have seen so far, it seems to be a pretty great game that is going to be a thrill to play. Having that said, fans can wait to get their hands on the game and check it out for themselves. We do have some information regarding the Cyberpunk 2077 release window.
While there is no confirmation regarding an official release date we have got a few rumors, along with a hint from none other than CDPR. According to the latest rumor, Cyberpunk 2077 release could be next year. This information comes from a Turkish publication. We do not know whether this is speculation on their part or that they have some kind of inside source that told them about the Cyberpunk 2077 release date so take this with a grain of salt.

Moving on to the hint from CDPR, this has some credibility to it. Who better know when the game is coming out than the people that are working on getting the game to market. One of the fans asked about whether the game would be released on current generation hardware and CDPR responded that was the plan.
While this is not much to go on, it does mean that the target release is for this generation. Keeping in mind that we have been hearing that the PS5 is going to have a surprise launch next year, it is more than likely that the game will come out before then. Unless something goes wrong and plans change of course.
From what we have seen so far the game seems to be shaping up pretty well and if all things go according to plan then we have a great contender for the game of the year. Fans have been waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 to come out for a long time now and I think that fans can wait a while longer. Having that said, I also think that anything beyond 2019 would be pushing it.
