Why is Red Dead Redemption 2’s File Size So Massive, Biggest Game Yet on Launch?

As every detail about Red Dead Redemption 2 interests everyone, it has been revealed through a tiny text on the PS4 bundle of the game that it’s going to have a massive file size weighing at 105 GB. Personally, I have never seen a game this big and I’m sure that there isn’t one.

This was discovered by RockStar Intel who managed to get every little detail from a PS4 bundle of Red Dead Redemption 2 including the install size, total number of players supported in the game and also the time for that exclusive PS4 content.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is literally the biggest game of all time and overcomes Grand Theft Auto 5 on PS4 along with Grand Theft Auto Online. Now if you own a standard PS4, it’s going to eat almost 20% of your total storage space and will leave a space for 2 or 3 games more on it. Well, then it’s the best time for you to invest in an external hard drive for your PS4 or even Xbox as it seems like it’s going to be similar.

Now keeping in mind that this is the minimal hard drive space required shown on PS4 Bundle box so expect a lot of more space to be taken when the additional content of the game arrives. Now as for the content, PlayStation 4 users will be getting select online content 30 days earlier than Xbox.

It’s not a secret anymore that RockStar makes some of the biggest games ever and RDR2 is coming on top. It’s obvious because of the detailed in-game content, features and stunning graphics which makes the game heavier than any other.

Even the horses of the game are made in so much detail and will be one of the dynamic elements in the game. In-case you didn’t know, the testicles of horses in the game will shrink in cold weather along with deep details of the poop too.

As for the animals, RockStar has also revealed that the game will consist of more than 200 species of animals on land, sea and sky. Some of these animals are whitetail deer, a vulture, bald eagle, grizzly bear and many more.
