Later today, Fortnite Season 6 will go online as a new door to the battle royale madness will open up to the gamers. As for now, the game is seeing a downtime in order to install the new season inside the system of Fortnite. This won’t be coming as a surprise for the regular users of Fortnite as it is expected before a new season is uploaded onto the game.
The Fortnite officials informed the fans about the downtime beforehand as well while announcing the time and date for the starting time of Season 6 on Twitter:
Patch v6.00 is dropping in tomorrow, September 27! Downtime begins at 4 AM ET (0800 GMT).
Reminder, progressive Outfits from Season 5 can be leveled up in all future seasons once you’ve unlocked them in the Battle Pass!
Whenever a new season is launched there is plenty of content to be uploaded before players can actually play them. This includes various features such as skins, characters, and cosmetics etc.
However, there has been no announcement as to when the downtime will end but as soon the authorities at Fortnite are done with the technicalities of uploading the Season 6 patch.
Till then there is plenty of content which fans would certainly want to get their hands on. An earlier teaser by Epic Games showed us an incoming Llama DJ. Moreover, the most recent reveal for Season 6 has shown us the new pets and skins coming to Fortnite.
Meanwhile, the extended cross-play of Fortnite also came out just yesterday which would see PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo users combined on the battle royale video game. With so much of the eye-catching features coming to the game, it is hard that a fan would want to miss out on any of them.
The player-base for the highly-anticipated game has been in huge numbers ever since it came out. Although some were starting to rule Fortnite out of the competition too soon the fans have made it even more promising as August was marked the best month in terms of players tuning in to play the game.
