Shadow of the Tomb Raider has launched with a great critical reception and since its launch data miners have found an alternative ending to the game. However, the ending is not all that has been changed as the Shadow of the Tomb Raider post credit scene was also changed with its day one patch.

As reported by Gamereactor, one of the fans pointed out that why no one is discussing the letter in the Shadow of the Tomb Raider post credit scene.

The user then went on to play the game again and found that the post-credit scene has been changed as the letter was missing.

However, Square Enix took notice of this discussion and gave an explanation as to why the Shadow of the Tomb Raider post credit scene was changed.

During the course of development on Shadow of the Tomb Raider, multiple post-credits scenes were explored. Unfortunately, one of the directions that was considered, but not chosen, was mistakenly included in the game. The Day One patch fixes this error, along with many other improvements. As always, we highly recommend that our players install the patch to enjoy the complete and most up-to-date experience.

Speaking of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the game is using the latest version of Denuvo DRM, however, the DRM has been cracked for the game which might result in the game being cracked eventually.

The latest version of the anti-tamper tech is 4.9 and with F1 2018 being cracked by the hacker group, they might also be able to crack Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which launched recently, along with other AAA titles.

Furthermore, Shadow of the Tomb Raider was criticized a little bit by the reviewers over Lara not respecting some cultures and not being very accurate when it comes to history.

However, the developers have noted that the game was never supposed to be historically accurate and the development team was very careful not disrespect any culture.

When we were looking at how we portray different cultures, there were a couple of things that we held as important. One, we worked with [a] historian, even though it was not ever meant to be a historically accurate representation of these cultures. We have a narrative that we want to tell. We borrow and combine different elements from different cultures in order to do that.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is an action-adventure game developed by Eidos Montreal for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
