The Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti is the top of the graphics card that is supposed to replace the GTX 1080 Ti that came out around 2 years ago. The mantle of the fastest graphics card on the market is not a small one and while the card has been delayed till the 27th we have some leaked benchmarks that show pretty impressive performance as compared to the previous generation GPU.
The Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti seems to be a very competitive graphics card from the numbers that we see here. You can check out the Time Spy and Time Spy Extreme benchmarks below:
This is most likely a reference design model. It will be interesting to see how the custom design models perform in the same benchmark. Nvidia has also mentioned that the Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti as well as the other graphics cards in the series are designed with overclocking in mind and it is more than likely that overclocking the graphics cards will provide better performance in these benchmarks.
It is also worth noting that these are synthetic benchmarks and that the performance in games will vary from game to game depending on how well it is optimized for PC and how well it is optimized for the Nvidia graphics cards. It is also interesting that at launch we have no idea how the graphics cards perform with Nvidia real-time ray tracing features, which seemed to be a huge deal at the announcement event.
We have seen the Gigabyte RTX 2080 Ti Wind Force OC as well as the RTX 2070 that has yet to be released yet. For more information and news regarding these upcoming graphics cards, Stay tuned.
