Castlevania Requiem To Bring Two Of The Most Beloved Platformers To PS4

Castlevania Lords of the Shadows 2 was the last entry in the franchise and since then no new Castlevania has launched. While we are still not getting any new Castlevania tile but, we are still getting two platformers in the form of Castlevania Requiem for PlayStation 4.

While Konami hasn’t confirmed it yet but Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee has rated the Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood for the PlayStation 4 which indicates that Konami is looking to bring two of its most beloved Platformers to PlayStation 4.

The Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee describes the Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood as:

This is collection of two action platformers in which players assume the role of a vampire hunter battling Dracula and other creatures. From a side-scrolling perspective, players traverse Dracula’s castle to kill fantastical enemies (e.g., zombies, demons, minotaurs). Characters use whips, swords, axes, and magic to defeat enemies. Pixelated blood is depicted when players’ character and creatures are killed; some attacks result in decapitation and dismemberment of creatures, including a boss character that loses its body parts and entrails. As players progress, they may encounter female creatures (e.g., harpies, medusa) that have exposed buttocks and are depicted topless, though there are no discernible details (i.e., no nipples).

However, do keep in mind that this is just a rating and Konami is yet to announce these Castlevania games for the PlayStation 4, so take it with a grain of salt.

Speaking of Castlevania, while we aren’t getting a new entry in the franchise but the franchise is still alive in the form of the Castlevania animated series.

The season one for the animated series launched back in 2017 and season 2 for the animated series will arrive next month on October 26.

However, following the success of Castlevania animates series, Blizzard Entertainment is also looking to turn Diablo into an animated series in partnership with Netflix.
