It’s been confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 includes photo mode and thanks to Gamespot who dropped a detailed gameplay video of the game while showing this mode and how it works. During that gameplay, in one mission the player will receive a camera which you can afterward take pictures of the beautiful in-game world or even take selfies.
As for the selfie, it will not feature arms stretched out like what we have seen in games like Spiderman but definitely will work great as the picture shows the character from a distance.
