Nintendo Switch Online has arrived and it has brought us many new features on Switch including the ability to save your progress in the cloud.
It took a long time for Nintendo to implement this basic feature but unfortunately, it isn’t going to be available for all Nintendo Switch games.

Keep in mind that this list is not final so we will keep adding more games as we get to know whether they support the new feature or not. We also noticed that games like Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, Splatoon 2, Fortnite, and FIFA 19 don’t support this feature yet.
Though apparently there’s a twist with cloud saves on Switch. According to Nintendo Switch FAQ which says “Save data stored with Save Data Cloud cannot be kept outside of the duration of your Nintendo Switch Online membership”, meaning that all of your data will be lost if you run out of membership which doesn’t sound good at all.
Other than that, if you turned on your Switch system today then you would have been asked to update to 6.0 which is the latest firmware with all new functions. There are some NES Games available for free at launch and you can check out the full list of games here which includes The Legend of Zelda, Donkey kong and many more.
With this new update, you can now also game share by activating your unit as primary console and another unit as a non-primary system which will allow you to play your games on another system with your account but internet connection is required at all times so keep that in mind.
Are we missing something out from the list of supported games? Let us know in the comments below.
