Final Fantasy 15 Benchmarks For RTX GPUs Reveal 33% Performance Boost Over 1080 Ti

Nvidia’s RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 GPUs are set to launch later this month and leaks/rumors are still not stopping. This time around, Final Fantasy 15 benchmarks for RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 have their way online.

According to the benchmarks, the RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 outperformed the GTX 1080 Ti by 33% and 6% respectively. These Final Fantasy 15 benchmarks scores come from the game’s own benchmark tool.

According to Final Fantasy 15 benchmarks, the RTX 2080 Ti scored 5897 points while the RTX 2080 scored 4691 at 4K resolution. As for the 1440p resolution, the RTX 2080 Ti scored 10308 points while the RTX 2080 scored 8171 points.

The performance boost for RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 seems to be in line with Nvidia’s claims of the RTX GPUs being significantly powerful compared to the Pascal GPUs.

Speaking of Nvidia GPUs, announcing the RTX GPUs wasn’t enough for the company as Nvidia has announced OC Scanner, which is an automatic overclocking tool which 99% accurate results.

Not only that, Nvidia also demonstrated the capabilities of Nvidia OC Scanner at GDC 2018. Nvidia demonstrated it with EVGA Precision X1 overclocking software on the TX 2080.

Furthermore, the Nvidia OC Scanner also allows users to see what will be the highest clock speed they will achieve with a specific voltage.

The Nvidia OC Scanner will be part of a number of overclocking utilities including the MSI Afterburner, ASUS GPU Tweak, EVGA Precision X1 and more.

As for the Final Fantasy franchise, while Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy VII remake but is yet to confirm the release date.

The remake was revealed back in 2015 and since then no release date has been announced. But, a report has been making rounds on the internet suggesting that theĀ first episode will be available by the end of 2019.

Aside from remaking the whole game, Square Enix is also remaking it as an episodic adventure which will consist of three episodes in total.

Also, the original Final Fantasy VII features turn-based combat while Square Enix has confirmed that the remake will feature real-time combat.

Aside from that, the studio has also confirmed that the remake is an action game instead of the action RPG.
