Intel i9 9900K Scores 2166 Points In Cinebench

Intel i9 9900K is going to come with 8 cores and 16 threads, something that we have not seen before in the mainstream series of CPUs from Intel. Other than that, this is also going to be the first i9 CPU in the mainstream series from Intel. Here we have some information regarding the performance of the Intel i9 9900K and it seems that the chip was able to score 2166 points in Cinebench.

This chip has been overclocked to 5 GHz and in order to do so, you will need a Z390 motherboard. While there is no confirmation, word has it that the next generation chips will be coming out next month. If that is indeed the case then we will be able to check out the performance of the upcoming CPUs very soon indeed.

You can check out the Intel i9 9900K benchmarks below:

This means that the Intel i9 9900K will be faster than the AMD Ryzen 2700X, at least when compared at these frequencies. But the story does not stop there. We have spotted the AMD Ryzen 2800X has been spotted and according to the leaks, the CPU will come with 10 cores and 20 threads.

It is worth mentioning that the upcoming CPUs will work fine with the 300 series motherboards and you will not be required to change our motherboard when you upgrade to the upcoming generation of CPU. We recently got a leak that pointed out that the Intel i9 9900K would most likely cost $483 USD. At this point in time, we do not have the official pricing so you need to take this number with a grain of salt and wait for the official announcement.

Let us know what you think about the upcoming Intel i9 9900K and whether or not you are interested in getting one of these CPUs.
