Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is just a few days away from launch, however, the game’s street date has already been broken and is available in a number of regions ahead of its official launch.
Reports have emerged that Shadow Of The Tomb Raider street date has been broken in Europe and the Middle East. While the lucky ones will be playing the game before its official launch, however, there is a chance that some of these fans will be posting spoilers for the game on the internet.
So if you don’t want Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Story spoiled before you get to play it yourself then I would suggest that you to be cautious while surfing the Internet.
Also, it is unknown as to how and why the game’s street date has been broken ahead of launch in Europe and the Middle East but, this isn’t the first time street date for a game has been broken ahead of official launch.
Shadow Of The Tomb Raider will be expanding over the foundation of Rise Of The Tomb Raider in terms of gameplay as the game will feature open-environments filled with side quests and activities.
However, the developer has assured that the side content won’t be there for the sake of content but the side content will change the feel of Lara’s story.
Furthermore, level design director Arne Oehme has noted that backtracking will be an important part of the game as each hub has a special merchant who has items that are perfect for different tasks.
Each hub’s merchant has a different specialty for that region… which means a bit more re-traversal because you think ‘Oh, they had a good thing for that’, ‘They had a good thing for this.
Speaking of the game, the developers have also confirmed that Shadow Of The Tomb Raider will feature independent difficulty settings for combat, exploration, and puzzles.
What this means is that players will be able to change the game’s combat difficulty without having an impact of puzzles and exploration difficulty. This is definitely a great feature which makes me even more excited to play the game at launch.
Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is an action-adventure game developed by Eidos Montreal and is scheduled to launch on September 14, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
