Black Ops 4 Blackout Mode Faces 60 FPS Issues, Not Final Yet

The feature of Call of Duty games for running multiplayer mode on 60 FPS has given an edge to the franchise for a long time. Activision has been giving its users the ultimate gaming experience with a constant run of play. Whereas for this time, developers have established that as of now it is not quite certain if Black Ops 4 Blackout would be able to run at 60 FPS.

In a rapid-fire round of questions with GameInformer, Design Director David Vonderhaar discussed several key issues about Black Ops 4 Blackout. During these questions posed at David Vonderhaar, the frame rate subject also popped up. In response to this David cleared that although Blackout is aimed to run at the said frame rate and the game is surely capable of running at 60 FPS. There might be certain instants in the game where Black Ops 4 Blackout might struggle in achieving the 60 FPS requirement.

This does not in any situation mean that Activision wishes to drag down the frame rate of Black Ops 4 Blackout to 30 FPS. In fact, David emphasized that their goals would not be fixed to lower standards. Moreover, it was not clearly mentioned as to which platform from Xbox One, PS4, and Windows Vonderhaar was referring to.

It was recently announced that the highly anticipated beta of the battle royale mode for Black Ops 4 would have a limit of 80 players. Along with that the fusion of numerous other features for Blackout would surely add to the density of Black Ops 4 Blackout mode. Therefore, with new characters coming up to make the gaming experience of users rather smooth it is going to be quite a task.

A variety of features do add weight to the game’s appearance but collectively they demand an advanced frame rate. Apart from the frame rate, David also highlighted some other topics about Black Ops 4 Blackout. While declaring the player count he also mentioned supported custom games but according to him, they’ll not be as we think of it.

Furthermore, the map is set to be located in California but Vonderhaar declined to reveal the name of it. Characters from other Activision and Treyarch titles are also being dubbed to make appearance in Black Ops 4.

Regarding crossplay no exclusive DLC is promised alongwith no cross platform playing offered in Black Ops 4 Blackout yet.

The battle royale mode for Black Ops 4 promises to be like everything that Fortnite and PUBG offer while also having zombies added in it.
