The newly formed game studio called Typhoon Studio consists of some remarkable individuals which would team up to make a multiplatform project for 505 Games. These remarkable individuals were all previously working in the top game development studios before joining up to form Typhoon Studios. The founders of the new game development company comprise established names from the gaming industry which are Reid Schneider, Yassine Riahi, and Alex Hutchinson.
If we talk about each founder separately, we can know the real worth of the Typhoon Studios from their experience. Alex Hutchinson who is the Creative Director and Co-founder at Typhoon Studios has quite a collection to show off from his works. To start with, Alex was the Creative Director at Ubisoft Montreal, working on the games like Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed along the way. Other notable works include Sims 2, Spore and Army of Two The 40th Day.
Next up is Yassine Riahi, currently also the Co-Founder while also being the Technical Director of Typhoon Studios. His past works include projects like the Batman Arkham series while the working for studios like WB Games Montreal and Rocksteady. His early works consist of following games, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Homefront, and the first two Army of Two titles.
The Executive Director and the third Co-Founder of Typhoon Studios is Reid Schneider. Reid served on the same positions at WB Games Montreal during the making of Batman Arkham video games. In addition to that, the original Splinter Cell and Battlefield Vietnam also fall in his past gaming experiences.
The President of 505 Games Neil Ralley recently commented on their collaboration with Typhoon Studios by stating:
We’ve been steadily expanding our portfolio over the last few years by identifying and partnering with unique indie studios poised to make fantastic quality games. Once we saw the project Alex, Yassine, Reid and the team at Typhoon is developing, we jumped at the opportunity to be a part of it. We’re always on the hunt for creative, innovative games and developers and this one certainly fits the bill perfectly. We look forward to helping Typhoon bring their exciting vision to life.
Alex Hutchinson also took the opportunity to comment from the side of Typhoon Studios:
“As a smaller independent studio, finding partners who will support our creative vision by giving us the freedom to build our game our way is a top priority. 505 Games not only provides us that creative control, they offer deep support from a partner who really understands how to elevate indie games and bring out the best in the studios they team up with. Their track record speaks for itself.”
505 Games have been known to actively participate in signing deals with other companies in the past also.
