If you’re a fan of both Rayman and the Smashlike fighting game Brawlhalla, you’ll be in heaven come November 6, when everyone’s limbless hero comes to the game. This will be Rayman’s first appearance in a fighting game, though many are also hoping that he would appear in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
Rayman used to be one of Ubisoft’s quintessential gaming characters in the past, but went on a significant drought until Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends came out, both being critical and eventually financial successes as well. While some of those Rayman games did involve forms of fighting, there hasn’t been a dedicated fighting game for him to be in.
Brawlhalla is, as said before, a Smashlike, where players stand on various floating platforms and fight to knock their opponents off the stage, being helped along by various weapons that are dropped as you play. So far the game has been exclusive to the PC and Playstation 4, but will be coming to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on November 6, the same day that we get Rayman in Brawlhalla.
Considering how he normally fights in his own games, Rayman has a lot of different things he can use in a fight, to say nothing of the weapons you can also get in Brawlhalla. Whether it’s extending his disembodied limbs, spin attacks, jumping, and tossing energy blasts, there’s a lot of ways that Rayman can end up thrashing enemies.
What makes it even better is that Brawlhalla is free-to-play, so you don’t have to worry about buying Rayman for the game when it comes to the Xbox One and Switch, or when he’s added to the game’s other versions on Playstation 4 and PC.
Once again, we’ll be seeing Rayman in Brawlhalla on November 6 on all the game’s platforms including the Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
