Paul Rustchynsky Joins Slightly Mad for Fast and Furious Game?

Paul Rustchynsky, the known video game designer who has previously worked on MotorStorm: Apocalypse, as a senior game designer and as a lead game designer on MotorStorm Pacific Rift, took to his Twitter account and announced that he will now be working as a Game Director at Slightly Mad on an unannounced secret title.

You may recall Slightly Mad as an independent British video game company that has previously worked on multiple popular titles like, NFS Shift, Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends, Biker Bash Slightly Mad Studios, Project CARS Slightly Mad Studios and many other titles.

So now Paul Rustchynsky working as the game director means there is definitely something big in the works. Adding the fact that Slightly Mad itself has a reasonable resume it seems to reason that their next secret titles will certainly be amazing.

Rustchynsky was previously working on Onrush published by Codemasters, unfortunately, the game could not reach the commercial success it had hoped to, which compelled the Publishers to lay off quite a hand full of members of the team. The game director Paul Rustchynsky was also among them.

Anyways, the question is what game are they working on? Whatever it is, we will most certainly see a racing game. While most of the bets are around Project Cars 3, it could also be a new IP.

Be that as it may, let us wind the clock back a year if you guys would remember the same studio shared its interest in making their next game based on a movie franchise.

There just might be a possibility that the above mentioned “secret” project is based on a movie franchise. However, at this moment everything is uncertain un till we hear more about this project.

Slightly Mad has previously shown interest in creating a game based on the Fast and Furious franchise.

Guess what the latest Need for Speed game is doing, and have a think about which Hollywood film they’re copying. And then I can tell you we have a six-year deal with that major Hollywood company that’ll beat what Need for Speed is doing. For the next six years.

We may see not one but a series of Fast and Furious racing games in the near future. Until then, we at least enjoy an animated series on Netflix.
