PES 2019 White Screen At Launch, Low FPS In Fullscreen Mode, Green Screen, Audio Issues And Fixes

PES 2019 has made its way on PC and consoles but the game’s PC version is facing annoying issues like the White Screen at launch, audio stuttering, low FPS in fullscreen mode and more.

PES 2019 Audio Stuttering, FPS Drops And Fixes

PES 2019 is the latest entry in the long-running PES franchise. While FIFA has outpaced the PES franchise in the race for dominance but Konami is determined to make a comeback.

PES 2019 brings a slew of improvements compared to the previous entry, however, these improvements don’t come without issues and problems.

The following are the errors and issues that PC players are facing along with their fixes and workarounds.

Low FPS On AMD GPUs In Fullscreen Mode

Some players have reported that the game’s FPS drops significantly in the Fullscreen mode while playing the game on some AMD GPUs.

Playing the game in Windowed will fix this problem and here is how to do it. Go to the game’s installation folder and if you don’t where it is then open your Steam library and right-click on the game and select properties.

Now select “Local Files” and then select “Browse local files”. Double-click settings.exe and change the Fullscreen mode to Windowed Mode and save it. Now you will be able to play the game without any drops in FPS.

Green Screen Fix

This is an issue with PES 2019 that PC players have been experiencing. However, the issue is related to the color-bits and is not a critical issue.

You can fix this problem why playing the game in the Windowed mode, however, there is a permanent fix for this.

Open “Nvidia Control Panel” and select “Change Resolution” and select “Highest (32 Bit)” under Desktop Color Depth. This will resolve your green screen issue for the game.

Crash At Launch, White Screen

A lot of PC players have reported that when they start PES 2019 a white screen appears for a second and then disappears while the game crashes at launch.

Make sure to make an exception for the game’s exe file in your anti-virus as it could be clocking the exe file from executing.

Game Not Running In Fullscreen

Some players have reported that they are unable to play the game in Fullscreen mode as they are no options to change that in the game. The settings file for the game is a separate executable that is located in the game’s installation folder.

If you don’t know where the game is installed then open your Steam library and right-click on the game and select properties.

Now select “Local Files” and then select “Browse local files”. Here you will see “settings.exe” double click it and it will allow you to play the game in fullscreen mode.

FPS Drops, Stuttering Fix

To run PES 2019 with the best possible FPS make sure there is no unnecessary program running in the background using too much of your CPU and HDD as it will drop the game’s FPS.

If you don’t know how to check then open “Task Manager” and click on “more details”. There will be a list of processes along with their usage of CPU, Network, RAM, and GPU.

If there is a program using too much of your CPU and HDD then click on it once and then click “End Task”. This will terminate that program and will direct the resources to PES 2019.

Nvidia GPU owners can try another thing, especially who own GTX 10 series GPU. Open Nvidia Control Panel and select “Manage 3D settings” and then select “Program Settings”.

Select the game from the list and go through the options looking for V-sync and set it to “Fast”. This has the potential to increase your in-game FPS if there is enough headroom for the CPU to utilize 100% of the GPU. This might give you the much need performance boost.

Audio Issues, Audio Stuttering Fix

Some players have reported problems with the in-game audio for PEs 2019 like stuttering and buzzing sound.

The solution to these problems is rather simple. Open Playback Devices and select your active audio device then click on properties. Select the “Advanced” tab and there will be a list of audio sample rates for your system.

You will have to do a little trial and error and one of the sample rates will fix the issue for you.

Also, if you are experiencing problems with the game’s surround sound and make sure channels are properly set for your headphones or speakers.
