EA France Leaks Battlefront 2 Fall Content, General Grievous, Geonosis, Count Dooku

EA France’s jumping the gun has given us a peak at when we’ll be getting the Battlefront 2 Fall content, which will include new heroes and a new planet to fight on. All of that will apparently be coming over the fall months, though we don’t know an exact date for each yet.

There’s not been very much to go on when it comes to Clone Wars content for Battlefront 2; the only maps available for that are the Ambush space battle map, and the Kashyyyk and Naboo Galactic Assault maps. With the upcoming Battlefront 2 fall content, the game will be getting a new Clone Wars map, focusing on the planet Geonosis, where the Clone Wars first began.

Players will also be getting four new Clone Wars-era heroes, including Anakin Skywalker before he became Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, and Count Dooku. Hero Appearances will also be added to the game, likely meaning we’ll be able to see various different versions of each of these new heroes.

This new Battlefront 2 content will be coming after the game’s first Elite Corps update, which allows you to outfit your clone troopers in the skins of specific clone trooper Corps. The 41st Elite Corps and 327th Star Corps were the first two to be added, and now players will also be able to gain five new ones.

First will be the 91st Mobile Recon Corps (who murdered Stass Allie in Episode 3), the 212th Attack Battalion (Obi-Wan Kenobi’s personal forces led by Commander Cody), the 104th “Wolfpack” Battalion led by Plo Koon, the red and white-colored Coruscant Guard, and finally in December the 501st Legion, Vader’s Fist, who invaded the Jedi Temple with the newly-minted Darth Vader at their head.

The Battlefront 2 Fall content also includes a new mode, a Large-Scale mode. The Large Scale mode seems to be more classical Battlefront, as it revolves around two teams fighting across a large map for various control points in order to destroy the command center of the enemy.

We’ll learn more about these new updates as the game continues to release content, but in the meantime you can play the game on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
