Cyberpunk 2077 Twitch Stream Viewed By Half a Million Gamers

The live stream for Cyberpunk 2077 was broadcasted on CD Projekt Red’s Twitch channel. The Twitch stream had fans from across the world tune in to the gameplay reveal for Cyberpunk 2077. The number of viewers on the Cyberpunk live video kept soaring which has made it the most watched stream of the year till now.

The cryptic live stream video named “DATA TRANSMISSION IS PROGRESS_” was believed to be a tease to the fans by CD Projekt Red. Most fans were confident that the video will feature a gameplay reveal and it did.

CD Projekt Red was not really showing much of the gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 after an E3 reveal behind closed doors. Hence, after 9 hours of mysterious codes being streamed on Twitch, those hopeful fans were proven right.

A 48-minute gameplay reveal was shown in the Twitch stream for Cyberpunk 2077. Apparently, CD Projekt Red was just gathering the audience for the reveal for hours. As the stats show the technique actually worked out well. The number of viewers was seen hitting the top mark of 288Km whereas, the concurrent views reached numbers as high as 459K. This number accounts the restreams as well which made Cyberpunk the most watched game on Twitch on Monday.

The Twitch stream has crossed the 305K views of Fortnite. In addition to that, Cyberpunk has overcome this year’s releases with quite a margin as well. God of War’s 283K views and Sea of Thieves 259K views were former leaders. While Call of Duty Black Ops 4 had 203K views. The official Cyberpunk Gameplay Reveal Youtube video also gathered 2.6 million views.
