Devil May Cry 5 is the upcoming title in the DMC franchise and while we thought that the game was set years after DMC4, it seems that the game also comes after DMC2. This has been confirmed by none other than Matt Walker, one of the producers over at Capcom. A French media source claimed that Devil May Cry 5 was set after DMC2 when fans realized this they asked Walker on Twitter regarding whether or not this was true and he confirmed that this was indeed talked about in a recent interview and that it as indeed true.
There has been a lot of hype around Devil May Cry 5, ever since the game was announced at E3 2018. Now we have got a new trailer and a look at the game in a demo that was shown off at Gamescom 2018. I have talked about what I think about the game and now that we know that Devil May Cry 5 is set after Devil May Cry 2, there is even more hype around the title.
We have indeed confirmed this in interviews. ^_^

DMC2 is a classic and there are plenty of people that have played the game. Fans are hoping that they will be able to see Lucia back in the new game and I would like to see that too. We have not heard about this character in the new game so it could be one of the surprises that Capcom is keeping us in the dark about but time will tell what wonders Devil May Cry 5 has to offer. So far the game looks amazing and if you have not seen the demo yet then you should check it out.
We also talked about the training mode in the upcoming game and the different moves that Nero is able to pull off. Devil May Cry 5 has taken a few things from DmC while sticking to the true DMC vibe. That is something that fans all over the world can and will appreciate.
The game is going to be released on March 8th, 2019. For more news and information regarding Devil May Cry 5 stay tuned.
