We are over a month away from playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey but the game’s world map has leaked. The leaked Assassin’s Creed Odyssey World Map reveals the game’s world is 62% bigger than Assassin’s Creed Origins.
The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey World Map comes from the Gamescom 2018 playable demo. As you can see in the image below, the game’s world is mostly composed of water due to the fact that the game features an emphasis on naval combat.
Not only that, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey World Map is 62% bigger compared to Assassin’s Creed Origins world. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey world is 130km² while Assassin’s Creed origins features 80km².
The increase in the game’s world size is because of the water as Assassin’s Creed Origins featured a huge land mass and didn’t have an emphasis on naval combat with the exception of some story set pieces.
Also, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey World Map looks a lot more like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag as the land mass is divided into islands with mainlands scattered about.
The following are the areas/locations featured in the World Map for Assassin’s Creed odyssey.
- Kythera Island
