Four New Color Schemes Unveiled for the DualShock 4 Controller

Take heed that there is a brand new lineup of colorful schemes launching next month for the DualShock 4 controller.

Posting on the official website earlier today, Sony announced four “vibrant and stylish colors” to brighten your PlayStation 4 experience. These are being called Berry Blue, Sunset Orange, Blue Camouflage and Copper.

While nearly all the previous DualShock 4 designs have been monochromatic, Sony is bringing out two schemes in particular that notably combine bolder colors. These are Berry Blue and Sunset Orange — light blue and maroon for the former, and radiant orange and navy blue for the latter. The rest fall in with a a trendy fatigue pattern with Blue Camouflage and a solid metallic design with Copper.

Suffice to say, there is bound to be at least one color scheme in that lineup to capture your undivided attention and match your mood.

The new DualShock 4 controllers will retail for $64.99 when they go on sale in September. The Copper version will launch as a GameStop exclusive in the United States before becoming available at other retailers. In addition, the Sunset Orange model will not release in Europe.

Sony has warned that the new DualShock 4 controllers will only be available until supplies last. Hence, those interested should take this opportunity to secure their pre-orders through select retailers — local or otherwise.

Other recent additions to the DualShock 4 controller lineup include Midnight Blue and Steel Black, both of which debuted in March.
