Nvidia RTX 2080 PCB Images Surface Online, Eight GDDR6 Memory Modules And More

As we are getting close to Augst 20th it seems that it is becoming hard for Nvidia to contain leaks and rumors. This time around, images have surfaced online revealing the Nvidia RTX 2080 PCB.

The images for the Nvidia RTX 2080 PCB come from Videocardz who have leaked the images online. According to the site, the PCB belong to TU104 GPU which is the Nvidia RTX 2080.

The leaked images for the Nvidia RTX 2080 PCB reveal that the GPU will be equipped with eight GDDR6 memory modules (1 GB each) which will make a total of 8 GB of GDDR6 memory for the GPU.

Furthermore, the Nvidia RTX 2080 PCB is powered by either “either 6-pin and 8-pin connector or a pair of 8-pin power connectors”. Check out the images for the Nvidia RTX 2080 PCB below.

According to the site, the leaked PCB for the upcoming Nvidia RTX 2080 is from a “qualification sample” meaning this GPU PCB belongs to the production unit.

Speaking of the Nvidia RTX 2080, the pre-orders for the GPU will start on Monday, August 20th.

This is according to an online retailer who claims that it has heard from the official channels that Nvidia RTX 2080 pre-orders will start this coming Monday.

However, that is not the only leak that is making rounds on the internet regarding the RTX 2080. A report suggests that the RTX 2080 will be priced at $649.

The rumored Nvidia RTX 2080 will feature 3072 CUDA cores and will be based on Turing architecture and will feature 8 GB of GDDR6 memory.

Also, the Nvidia RTX 2080 will beat the $3000 TITAN V in terms of performance but, another report has suggested that the RTX 2080 Ti will be a monster featuring 11 GB of GDDR6 memory.

With RTX 2080 being bette rta the TITAN V, it will be intersting to see how much power the RTX 2080 Ti will pack.

On the other hand, Nvidia has announced its Quadro TX GPUs capable of real-time Ray Tracing.

The new architecture is not the only new thing Nvidia has introduced with these Quadro RTX GPUs as these GPUs combine new RT Cores with new Tensor Cores for the AI.

According to Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang, Nvidia Turing is the most important GPU innovation in over a decade that will change the industry or sure.
