Since players are not good enough on their own (well, some of them), we will be showing you Madden NFL 19 Upgrading Players so that you are able to train them and increase their stats so as to ensure that you do not have to keep on using the same players over and over again.
In our Madden NFL 19 Upgrading Players Guide, we will give you a basic know-how of the process and what are some of the things that you can do in order to ensure that your players develop better than they would otherwise.
Madden NFL 19 Upgrading Players
There are 2 different ways to upgrade players. One of them is for the franchise mode and one of them is for the Ultimate Team Mode. Let us go ahead and look at how to upgrade players.
Upgrading Players in Franchise Mode
You can upgrade yourself in the ‘Be a Player’ mode or your entire team as a coach or an owner. You need to be able to earn XP and then spend them in order to upgrade your players. Weekly training and the matches that you play earn XP.
You can manually upgrade the players by selecting their Archetype and relative attributes will be upgraded. If your overall rating is in Speed Rusher, you will be able to upgrade skills related to that when XP are earned.
Remember that players do not have set Archetypes. Their Archetypes can change if you train them enough and beat the overall of their Archetype.
You can make any player a Power Rusher or a Speed Rusher but the amount of effort required will be different for both.
Upgrading Players in Madden Ultimate Team
This is actually not that difficult. Select the player that you want to upgrade. Here, select the option to upgrade him and then decide the amount of training points you want to invest in the player.
Some of the players will also require you to have another player card which will be eaten up during the upgrade process. These players can be found in packs, bought or traded using the Auction House.
It should be obvious to you that the better the player, the more points required to upgrade him.
You can get Training Points through a number of ways in Madden Ultimate Team. You can either complete solo matches or complete training camp matches in the solo matches’ playlist.
One of the best ways is to quicksell the cards that you do not need, and there will be many cards that you do not need especially once you are over the initial hump of developing a team from scratch.
