Fortnite Will Release On Non-Samsung Devices Soon

It’s been a long time since Fortnite got released on iOS devices leaving Android owners to wait for months to finally get hands on the game but the time has now finally come. It came as a surprise and a disappointment at the same time when the game was announced but as an exclusive to Samsung only at launch.

Fortnite is launching first on S7 / S7 Edge, S8 / S8+, S9 / S9+, Note 8, Note 9, Tab S3, Tab S4 and today you will be able to download them exclusively until August 12 afterward which, Fortnite will be available to other Android devices which you can take a look at below.

The game will launch on following devices starting on August 13:

Google: Pixel / Pixel XL, Pixel 2 / Pixel 2 XL, Asus: ROG Phone, Zenfone 4 Pro, 5Z, V Essential: PH-1 Huawei: Honor 10, Honor Play, Mate 10 / Pro, Mate RS, Nova 3, P20 / Pro, V10 LG: G5, G6, G7 ThinQ, V20, V30 / V30+ Nokia: 8 OnePlus: 5 / 5T, 6 Razer: Phone Xiaomi: Blackshark, Mi 5 / 5S / 5S Plus, 6 / 6 Plus, Mi 8 / 8 Explorer / 8SE, Mi Mix, Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix 2S, Mi Note 2 ZTE: Axon 7 / 7s, Axon M, Nubia / Z17 / Z17s, Nubia Z11

If you own a Samsung device you can visit your pre-installed Galaxy App store to download Fortnite installer which will download the full game for you and will take almost 1.88 GB on your device.

As for other devices, you guys can go to the link here to register for the Beta with your device as it’s not going to be available to everyone at launch just like it was on iOS.

Another interesting thing to know is that the game will support cross-play, allowing you to play it with your friends on PC, PS4, Xbox One or even iOS which is going to be really fun.

Challenges for Season 5 week 5 are now also available which you would want to have a look at before you jump into the game to earn some extra rewards.
