Black Ops 4 Game Mode “Heist” Revealed, Brings Action Packed Encounters With A Twist

Recently, developer Treyarch teased a secret new mode for Balck Ops 4 beta and now Treyarch has revealed it. The new Black Ops 4 game mode is “Heist”.

As the name suggests, in this new Black Ops 4 game mode, Heist, two teams will be tasked with locating a bag of cash and deliver it to the extraction point.

Not only that, players will have limited lives, however, players will not be instantly killed but will be knocked out and can be revived by teammates. The revive part is obviously inspired by the game’s Battle Royale mode, Blackout.

The progression also works very differently compared to other Black Ops 4 game modes.

Players won’t be able to to use their existing loadouts instead, every player will start the Heist mode with a pistol and will have to grab weapons in the duration of the match along with perks and gear.

Players will be able to purchase weapons, perks, and gear with in-game cash that they will earn by playing. The gear will include armor to protect yourself from damage.

Players will have choices to make throughout the match, either they can spend the cash on a better weapon or purchase armor and keep using the pistol.

Ammo and health will be limited, meaning you won’t be getting fully healed or resupplied by just taking cover. Players will need to pick up ammo and health through ammo and health packs that will be scattered across the map.

This will definitely will force players to play strategically or they will die if they just go guns blazing.

This new Black Ops 4 game mode, Heist, will be playable in this weekend’s beta for PC.

The Black Ops 4 Pc beta will start on August 10 for those who have pre-ordered the game through Battle.net. While the open beta will be available on August 11, 2018.

This Multiplayer Beta showcases six modes—Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Search & Destroy, and Control. You will battle over six distinct maps—the four already seen at various events, plus two new ones, Gridlock and Hacienda—across playlists that showcase all the content that the Specialists revel in.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is a multiplayer shooter in development at Treyarch and is scheduled to launch on October 12, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
