When it comes to Battle Royale, PS4 users don’t have any options other than Fortnite. But that is about to change as H1Z1 arrives on PS4.
H1Z1 has been in the testing phase for multiple weeks and yesterday, it has been officially launched by Daybreak on PS4 console.
Just a few days back, H1Z1 Battle Royale complete edition was announced and now it is out on PlayStation Store.
Although we have had Fortnite in early access, PS4 users have had their eyes on another battle royale game that is in its prime, PUBG. But since PUBG is nowhere near PS4 right now, H1Z1 is the next best thing. Moreover, Black Ops 4 Blackout mode and Battlefield V Battle Royale is heading to consoles and PC in a couple of months.
Black Ops 4 is the first Call of Duty game to offer a Battle Royale experience. It may be reasonably good but as far as the multiplayer experience goes, it is mediocre to say the least.
It would be interesting to see if Black Ops 4 or H1Z1 will support cross-platform play between consoles. It is one of the most demanded features from fans. However, Sony doesn’t support cross-play between consoles.
You can download H1Z1 from PlayStation Store or if you are a PC gamer, it is available to Steam as well. There is no word regarding an Xbox One version of H1Z1.
