Black Ops 4 beta has ended but, it will be coming back next week. Aside from bringing the beta to players, Treyarch has also confirmed that Black Ops 4 has a “secret new mode” that beta participants will be able to try out among other things.
According to Treyarch, they have a Black Ops 4 “secret new mode” that they have kept under tight wraps.
Not only that, the Black Ops 4 beta next week will also bring a brand new map which the devs teased in the beta trailer. Furthermore, the Black Ops 4 beta next week will also bring new XP events, level caps and more.
Just because Week 1 is coming to a close doesn’t mean we’re shutting things down … we’ll be back with a second week of Beta action starting this Friday (PS4/XB1/PC), which will feature a few new items that you’ll want to jump in to see. We probably shouldn’t reference the new map that you saw in the beta trailer, secret new mode that has been kept under tight wraps, new XP events, and/or new level caps that you’ll see next week, so we definitely won’t do that.
There is a lot of hype behind the upcoming Call of Duty title, however, the recent closed beta for the game failed to meet expectations. The recent beta for Call of Duty Black Ops 4 saw an ordinary reception from players compared to previous installments.
Furthermore, this will be the first mainstream Call of Duty title to launch without a singleplayer campaign.
While fans have raised their concern over not including singleplayer campaign but according to the devs, it’s a “tremendous advantage” to not include the campaign in Black Ops 4.
This is according to the game designer, Matt Scronce, who noted that letting go of the singleplayer has allowed the devs to focus on the multiplayer.
Also, the Battle Royale mode, Black Out, for Black Ops 4 will feature wingsuits, Zombies and more.
However, it is not known how players will be able to use wingsuits, they might be able to use these wingsuits while jumping from The Tower or a tall building to glide through the map.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is a first-person multiplayer shooter in development at Treyarch and is scheduled to launch on October 12, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
