Mesut Ozil All Set To Launch FIFA 19 eSports Team

Mesut Ozil played his last world cup and not only has he left the team, he said that he would be leaving Germany and will be living in the UK. But what is he planning on going away from football?  It seems that while Mesut Ozil is not going to play football per say, he will be launching a FIFA 19 esports team, so his heart is still in the game, in one way or another.

FIFA 19 is a highly anticipated game of the year and it will be coming out on September 28, so the wait is not that long anymore. Mesut Ozil broke the news on Twitter and the following is what he had to say in this regard:

How cheeky is that: I’m teaming up with @eSports_Rep to form my own @EASPORTSFIFA team. In the upcoming weeks, we’ll look out for players around the world who will represent #teamozil in all major national and international EA FIFA competitions.

While this is news, esports has become a very big thing in the past 10 years and more people are becoming a part of it, which is a great thing for gamers all over the work. Esports has been getting a lot of attention and more games are trying to join the esports ranks.

I have followed the EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series throughout the year and I am really impressed by the performances of the Grand Finalists so far. I am excited to be part of their journey and look forward to welcoming them in London. I know that playing at a FIFA World Cup and representing your country is a highlight for all athletes and something truly unforgettable.
