BioWare Has More, Secret Plans For Mass Effect And Dragon Age In The Future

Ecen though Mass Effect Andromeda didn’t pan out for BioWare and the studio is currently working on the shared-world shooter Anthem, BioWare apparently still has a lot of new, secret plans for both Mass Effect and Dragon Age. However, we still don’t quite know what those games will actually be like.

Mass Effect ended on a fairly final note, with peace descending on the Milky Way galaxy after the end of the Reaper War no matter what your ending was. While Mass Effect Andromeda still has a lot to go through as the Andromeda Initiative tries their best to make a new life for themselves in a strange galaxy.

There’s plenty of other stories to tell in the Andromeda Galaxy, lots of other races to explore and more Kett to fight, so if more Mass Effect games decide to stick to the Andromeda Galaxy and work through all of the other potential that the new setting has, hopefully the other games will be worked on by a competent team that will make sure the game is up to the quality the series has become known for.

But another part of Mass Effect and Dragon Age is Dragon Age after all. And while we’ve had hints that another Dragon Age game is in the making, there’s a lot of potential for the series still, even if it seems to be drawing to the end of at least one story ever since the ending of Inquisition’s Trespasser DLC, where Solas was revealed to be the elven god Fen’Harel, there’s a great many other stories that could happen later in the series.

Either way, there’s a ton of different stories that could be used with Mass Effect and Dragon Age, so hopefully BioWare will be able to make new RPGs the way they used to.
