Episode 13 For Cyberpunk 2077 Trailer Analysis is Here, “Night City Waits for No One”

The final episode of the frame-by-frame breakdown of the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer has been released by CD Projekt Red. This episode is the latest and the last of the update series began right after E3 2018 when the Cyberpunk 2077 came out. Episode thirteen described the details of two frames from the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer. These frames featured the Night City, vehicles, and character style.

The opening frame in episode 13 of the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer update illustrates the Night City and the role of vehicles and speed in this city:

“Speed is a major theme in Cyberpunk 2077. For many, it’s just a way of life. The city moves fast, so keep up or get blown back. Any edgerunner will tell you; if you stop, you die – Night City waits for no one.”

As per the reports it has been implied that Cyberpunk 2077 will enable vehicular rides on bikes and cars. The description of this frame suggests that the Night City is going to be a crazy city filled with madness. The role of speed is highlighted as well which shows that why there won’t be any flying cars to ride as of now.

Next frame focuses on the character style :

“Our protagonist’s well-worn bomber jacket oozes style, but that’s not its only purpose. Like most fashion choices in Night City, the jacket is also designed to be functional, offering the ability to connect the character to different forms of tech.”

One noticeable point in this depiction is the detailed importance of every item. Any item used in the gameplay by the player is not just created for no reason. Something as casual as a jacket can be seen to be of greater use than just sporting a look.

The overall open-world of the game is just a futuristic version of today’s world. It might have similarities with other video games but cyberpunk is a world of its own. After seeing the complete series of the official website, episode thirteen might just be the beginning after reports came flying that Cyberpunk’s gameplay might be shown in the Gamescom this year.
