If you guys would remember last year in July, the producer of the animated series, Castlevania, Adi Shankar announced on Facebook that his next project will be the anime adaptation of, Assassin’s Creed. Back then this news came pretty much as a surprise but fans were very happy to hear it. However, following that we never got to know the plot of this Anime in the works, now though it seems like, a possible Assassin’s Creed Anime tease has surfaced and apparently it reminds us of, Assassin’s Creed Rogue.
Adi Shankar recently took to his Instagram account and posted his image, with the hoodie on his head, perhaps trying to relate to Assassins and said,
“I’m an Assassin slowly becoming a Templar”
For those who have played Assassin’s Creed Rogue or know its plot, they would instantly relate what Shankar has said to Rogue’s story.
Those who are not familiar, Assassin’s Creed Rogue follows a character Shay Patrick Cormac, who in the story is an Assassin turned Templar, after presumably being betrayed by the brotherhood.
So with this recent Assassin’s Creed Anime Tease by Shankar, it does seem like the story just might be similar to Rogue, if not it. However, since this tease could also turn out to be just a random post, we would recommend you to take this with a grain of salt for now.
Until we hear something that can substantiate Shankar’s post, keep the speculations on the down low. Let’s hope that we get to hear more news, regarding this AC Anime.
That said, are you excited about Assassin’s Creed Odyssey? There is a lot of hype built for it already since it is just a few months apart. Very recently we came to know about the main theme of this upcoming, presumably amazing game that it will be heavily be influenced by ancient Greece.
Of course, after E3 2018 we knew that it is set in ancient Greece but now, we know for sure that every gameplay footage, the game’s music and even the smallest to the smallest details, takes its inspiration from ancient Greece.
So are you excited for both, Anime and the next installment to the game? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
