Fortnite Week 3 challenges are now available to complete, giving you access to more rewards on your Battle Pass. Interestingly, completing the two previous weeks gives you access to a secret Fortnite challenge, the Road Trip challenge.
This secret Fortnite challenge is not so difficult to spot and complete. The only difficulty of it is completing the full set of challenges for week 1 and 2. The clue in completing the Road Trip challenge is looking at the loading screen awarded for completing week 2.
The loading screen features players near Lazy Links. In the background, you can see the faint model of a reward star on top of the house’s roof. Using that, head to Lazy Links during a match and claim your free Battle Pass tier. All hard challenges in Fortnite award you with 10 stars, which is a whole reward tier. This way you can “slide” through more tiers without having to grind.
In my personal experience, even if you start doing the challenges 2 weeks before the Battle Pass expires and play on the 50v50 mode, you can easily get the 950 V-Bucks needed to get the next one for free.
What’s to note here is that just heading to the designated location won’t do the trick like with “search between” and “follow the treasure map” challenges. You’ll have to fully complete all challenges in week 1 and 2 and get rewarded with the loading screen. Only then you can see and grab the much-wanted star.
Fortnite in Season 5 features two types of challenges. Free ones that are destined for all players regardless of whether or not they bought the Battle Pass and the premium ones available for buyers of it.
Even if you don’t want to spend money in the game, there’s a good chance that you’ll be able to collect the V-Bucks needed for it by completing free challenges or play the single player mode of Fortnite, Save the World.
