It’s now been nearly five months since Ni No Kuni 2 was released, and many fans are starting to wonder if they’ll ever get the DLC that they were promised. Now, however, it seems like the Ni No Kuni 2 DLC is finally on its way as Level-5 has given out details.
Ni No Kuni 2 is already a sizable game, with players given a whole world to run around in as they try and take back a usurped kingdom while also making a new one. However, the upcoming DLC promises to make the game even bigger through a variety of different content packs. All of these packs will be coming out in 2018 and 2019.
To start off with, we have the Adventure Pack, a free piece of Ni No Kuni 2 DLC that will be adding some extra challenge for you if you’re a pretty good way into the game. It will be adding new floors to the Faraway Forest, and beating those floors will net you new costumes. Two newer, stronger bosses named Blackhart and Zeta will also become available, and some new quests will also unlock after you beat the main story.
The other two content packs of Ni No Kuni DLC will be coming in the winter and early 2019, respectively. The first one coming this winter will give players access to a new puzzle dungeon that will be full of powerful enemies and cool loot. The second one, coming in 2019, in addition to giving out new mechanics and content, will also be a full-on story expansion, allowing you to get more out of the game.
We don’t know the exact release date of the Ni No Kuni DLC yet, but hopefully they’ll all be coming soon and we can return to the game’s world to have some more adventures. Ni No Kuni 2 is available on Playstation 4 and PC.
