Ubisoft is going into an all-new direction with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey by setting it in Greece and bringing Spartans to the game for the first time. Ancient Greece setting is going to bring us beautiful, stunning and vibrant visuals of the game along with varied locations which we saw in the trailers.
Ancient Greece will offer stunning landscapes and beautiful visual palette because of the variety of biomes and geographical locations available in Greece. The game director, Scott Phillips revealed in a recent interview that the game and its new settings allowed them to have a new wide range of beautiful visuals and locations.
Scott Phillips said that “It’s a super varied, super beautiful location” and that’s the most interesting thing about Greece.
Scott Phillips said:
“We have eight different biomes,” he said. “From lava volcanoes, to mountain peaks with snow, to the undersea, to the island we had at E3. So, there’s variety in the visuals, and then it’s also a time of war. So, we have [representation of] war as well as the development of science, and art, and writing, storytelling. It was just full of things for us to dig into.”
Scott Phillips has praised Assassin’s Creed Odyssey already before and according to him, it’s the prettiest game ever in the series and we can’t deny it after watching the trailer. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is surely going to look all beautiful and we can’t wait to perform a leap of faith in the beautiful world of Greece in case if it exists.
In other news, enemies are powerful than ever before because they can parry attack you and even heal themselves so make sure to finish them off. Even the civilians in the game can now pick up weapons and attack you.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is scheduled to release on October 5 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
