A new video has come out on YouTube that will allow you to pull off the latest hit bug in online gaming, the Fortnite giant emote glitch. The name is just what it says, a glitch that will allow an emote that you’re doing in the game to grow to a huge size.
The glitch was only recently discovered today, so it’s likely that Epic Games won’t be able to fix it for a good while, unless they think it’s funny enough that it would be better to just leave it in. In order to do the glitch, apparently, you have to be changing seats in the ATK golf cart while also doing an emote. Doing this will cause your emote to inflate to an enormous size.
This can cause any number of stupid things to happen like you suddenly playing a guitar the size of a semi-truck, or eating a bucket of popcorn the size of a circus tent. While it’s not necessarily stealthy, which can be a really important quality in a Battle Royale game where you need to avoid conflict until you stand a good chance at winning, it still looks hilarious.
Fortnite has always marketed itself on being a much more cartoony version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and the Fortnite giant emote glitch certainly fits that sort of attitude. While we don’t know how long Epic Games will allow this sort of glitch to continue, it’d be hilarious if Epic Games just leaves the glitch in.
You can look at the Polygon video that will teach you how to pull off the Fortnite giant emote glitch by looking further up the article, but if you want to test it out for yourself it shouldn’t be too hard as long as you can keep switching places in the golf cart.
