Nintendo Calling Pokemon Let’s Go Friendly Rival Has Outraged Fans

Today Nintendo introduced a rival for their Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu and Eevee which doesn’t have a release date yet but since that game is based on the original games, your rival is coming from the Pallet Town.

Nintendo sent out this Tweet with a simple message showing a rival in the game but the way Nintendo referred to him calling “Friendly Rival” has outraged many Pokemon fans. It looks like people are making an issue of the fact that his face doesn’t look friendly or is it because simply your rival can’t be friendly. It’s confusing, fans are definitely mad about it and some responses are so hilarious.

As for Pokemon Let’s Go you will need a Nintendo online subscription in order to have access to the online features of the game. Pokemon has confirmed that Let’s Go! Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go! Eevee will feature online gameplay.

Pokemon Let’s Go will have limited online functionality as it will not include Battle Spot or Global Trading System which has been a part of the previous games.

Pokemon Let’s Go will have a set of things which will make it different from other Pokemon games including version exclusive Pokemon.

You will get to capture Oddish, Sandshrew, and Growlithe in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and catch Vulpix, Bellsprout, and Meowth in Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee.

Character customization from Pokemon Sun and Moon has returned. You will be able to customize your character the way it looks and its clothing to make them look like you. You can also play with your Pikachu and Eevee by being able to pet, feed or tickle your Pokemon.

Pokemon doesn’t have a release date yet so there’s plenty of time for us to learn more about the game as we get closer to the announcement of a release date.
