There Will Be A Fallout 76 PvP Bounty System According To Todd Howard

Fallout 76 is releasing this November, adding multiplayer for the first time in the franchise. If you were worried about the potential PvP players lurking just to take you out, a Fallout 76 PvP Bounty System will be available, letting you take revenge and a sweet bounty for your trouble.

While we all wanted to see another Fallout title being released, many are troubled about its multiplayer character and how they’ll be able to tackle the PvP-only players that will be playing the game. Bethesda has us covered though, as a Fallout 76 PvP Bounty System will be introduced, working similarly to the “Wanted” system in GTA V.

Last week, Bethesda’s Todd Howard talked with Gamestar, revealing some essential information about their next installation to the Fallout franchise. He hinted at the Fallout 76 PvP Bounty System that will help players work together to take out the troublemakers and create a unified front against the overly-competitive ones.

Not much information has been revealed on that matter other than it will work in a similar fashion to the “Wanted” system in GTA V. If that’s true, then players with a high “Wanted” level will be restricted from a portion of the gameplay experience and will have a bounty on their heads, giving peaceful players the opportunity to, at least, gain something out of it.

We still don’t know how you’ll be able to tell if a player is “Wanted” but more will be revealed in the months to come. For now, we know that Fallout 76 won’t be like other survival games.

This opens up a bunch of possibilities on how you want to deal with those kinds of players. Whether you want to redeem yourself or just grab that huge Bounty on him, you have one simple task, take him out. Will you gather a gang to help you out or nuke his whole settlement in retaliation? That’s up to you to decide.

Fallout 76 will release on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on November 14.
