Battlefield V alpha started last month giving us an early look at what’s DICE and EA have planned for us. It was limited in number and few people received the invites but if you weren’t one of them then don’t worry as DICE has confirmed that the next test phase will take place soon.
DICE has officially confirmed that the second phase of Battlefield V testing will take place in late summer which can be in late August or early September. DICE has also been sending out emails to the players who were a part of the first testing phase telling them that the next phase will be taking place this summer.
DICE released an official statement saying:
“Thank you for participating in the Closed Alpha. The Battlefield V Close Alpha has now ended. Your participation and feedback are instrumental in helping us make the best WW2 game possible and we appreciated your involvement.
“The next test phase for Battlefield V will arrive in late summer – so stay tuned.”
There wasn’t a mention of how the beta test will take place but most likely it’ll be same as before meaning a selected number of players will get invited via an email so keep an eye at your inbox.
We know everyone can’t wait for the open beta to take place which is going to happen sometime near the official launch on all platforms and if you pre-order the game you can have early access to the beta but with some extra cash obviously.
If you played the beta, you might have got annoyed by the auto-spotting feature but don’t worry, it was a bug and won’t be present in the final version of the game.
Battlefield V is scheduled to release on October 18 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
