Dying Light 2 Weapons Will Be Of “Modern Dark Ages”, Game Duration Is Impossible To Tell

Lead gamer designer of Dying Light 2, Tymon Smektala says the wepaons in Dying Light 2 will be of ''Modern Dark Ages'' and duration is impossible to tell.

Dying Light 2 developers aim to provide everything better than the original game by having branching story paths, amount of choices and consequences. Thanks to the branching narratives, the game will have a lot of more stories to tell and it will result in increase playtime.

Lead gamer designer of Dying Light 2, Tymon Smektala recently had a deep talk with GamingBolt revealing a lot of new details about the game including the narrative style and paths which result in repetitive playthroughs.

He was asked about the game’s length, he said the number of directions you can take and by having the vast multiplayer of the game in mind, the game will give you plenty of content and also the value of the price.

In a game like this it’s almost impossible to tell, I can give you a number but that will be just one of the possible playthroughs. So, you can play this game for, let’s say 15 hours or 50 hours and you will reach the same point. But the road to that point will be different. In Dying Light 2you will get even more from your investment because of the various versions of this world; because of the various directions the narrative can take; and because the things we have in multiplayer. You’ll get plenty of variety for your 60 bucks.

He then talked about the weapons in the game and Smektala said that the game will include “dark ages” weapons but with the touch of modern settings such as non-melee weapons will include crossbows and bows.

You can use bows, crossbows. It’s in the modern dark ages universe. So everything that’s medieval, even though it’s modern by visual materials, you’ll be able to use that stuff.

Dying Light 2 could be repetitive but fun and each player can have his own version of the city when the game launches.
